Trizzle started it fourteen days in the past with the Ten Cheapest Motorcycles, so in honor of Donald Trump and MO's complete more-is-more beliefs, I hereby offer the 15 PRICIEST New Bikes of 2017.Determining the most expensive motorcycles is slightly more complicated than you might imagine. Lots of the priciest machines simply aren't offered by your local dealership for a clearly determined MSRP. And there's the completely custom motorcycles you could have built for yourself by store retailers like NCR and a few other high-end contractors, which don't truly qualify for production-bike status. While not a store shop, OEMs like Aprilia and BMW are also getting back in on the high-end sportbike game. BMW, for example, teased us with the all carbon dietary fiber HP4 Contest at EICMA 2016. It's still in the prototype stage, however, and pricing hasn't been established.Meanwhile, Aprilia has gone and released the Manufacturing plant Works program to acquire racebikes based on the RSV4 direct from the stock that conform to rules for various nationwide and international race organizations worldwide. Plans start with the basic Superstock build at EUR24,600 (approximately $26,000 USD at current exchange rates) all the way to EUR160,000 (almost $170,000) for the RSV4 FW-GP, which boasts more than 250 horsepower at the crank, pneumatic valves, dried clutch, and an extremely sophisticated electronics and data acquisition deal. Even though the RSV4 is a development bike, the bicycles and components used for the Manufacturer Works program are built strictly for auto racing. Road-legal componentry, along with subscription paperwork, aren't included or even offered. To avoid this list from being filled up with models from only a handful of manufacturers, we've made a decision to limit it to just the most expensive model from the many OEMs displayed here. We'll start with the least expensive expensive bike.Motorcycles have always been associated with a sort of rebel cool, a freedom considered on the available road. In the 1930s, airmen used to take up motorcycling because it was the closest thing they could get to soaring when on the floor and they brought their iconic leather coats with them. However, with motor vehicles becoming ever more expensive and increasing numbers of people looking for comfort and luxury in their vehicle, has the motorbike lost a few of its appeal? Some people are ready to pay serious money for what they think the best 'cool' is therefore, designers and technical engineers have set out to create some seriously good looking (or at least 'quirky') bikes with no thought to cost. Here we look at some of the most expensive motorcycles on the planet and ask why they cost very much?Thank you for Visiting This Website
