Trizzle began it two weeks earlier with the Ten Cheapest Motorcycles, so honoring Donald Trump and MO's entire more-is-more philosophy, I hereby offer the 15 PRICIEST New Bicycles of 2017.Determining the priciest motorcycles is just a little more complicated than you may imagine. Lots of the priciest machines simply aren't available at your local dealership for a plainly determined MSRP. And then there's the completely custom motorcycles you could have built for yourself by shop retailers like NCR and a few other high-end contractors, which don't truly be eligible for production-bike status. While not a store shop, OEMs like Aprilia and BMW are also getting in on the high-end sportbike game. BMW, for example, teased us with the all carbon fiber HP4 Competition at EICMA 2016. It's still in the prototype stage, however, and costs hasn't been established.Meanwhile, Aprilia has truly gone and created the Factory Works program to acquire racebikes based on the RSV4 direct from the manufacturer that conform to guidelines for various nationwide and international race organizations worldwide. Plans start with the essential Superstock build at EUR24,600 (around $26,000 USD at current exchange rates) all the way to EUR160,000 (nearly $170,000) for the RSV4 FW-GP, which offers more than 250 horsepower at the crank, pneumatic valves, dry out clutch, and a highly sophisticated consumer electronics and data acquisition program. And while the RSV4 is a production bike, the bikes and components used for the Manufacturing plant Works program are designed strictly for auto racing. Road-legal componentry, along with sign up paperwork, aren't included or even offered. To prevent this list from being filled with models from only a couple of manufacturers, we've made a decision to limit it to just the priciest model from the various OEMs represented here. We'll focus on the least expensive expensive bike.Motorcycles have always been associated with a sort of rebel cool, a flexibility used on the wide open road. In the 1930s, airmen used to take up motorcycling since it was the closest thing they could easily get to traveling when on the ground and they brought their iconic leather jackets with them. However, with automobiles becoming ever more expensive and increasing numbers of people looking for comfort and luxury in their vehicle, has the motorbike lost a few of its appeal? Some people are ready to pay serious money for what they think the best 'cool' is and so, designers and technicians have attempt to create some very seriously good looking (or at least 'quirky') bicycles with no thought to cost. Here we look at some of the most expensive motorcycles on the globe and ask why they cost a great deal?Thank for Reading This Website
