Motorcycles: “The 10 Most Expensive Motorcycles in the World”Trizzle started it two weeks before with the Ten Cheapest Motorcycles, so in honor of Donald Trump and MO's complete more-is-more beliefs, I hereby offer the 15 Most Expensive New Bikes of 2017.Determining the priciest motorcycles is marginally more complicated than you might imagine. Many of the priciest machines simply aren't offered by your neighborhood dealership for a clearly determined MSRP. And then there's the completely custom motorcycles you could have built for yourself by boutique shops like NCR and a few other high-end contractors, which don't truly be eligible for production-bike status.Without a store shop, OEMs like Aprilia and BMW are also getting back in on the high-end sportbike game. BMW, for example, teased us with the all carbon dietary fiber HP4 Competition at EICMA 2016. It's still in the prototype period, however, and rates hasn't been placed.Meanwhile, Aprilia has gone and unveiled the Stock Works program to buy racebikes based on the RSV4 direct from the factory that comply with rules for various countrywide and international race organizations worldwide. Plans start with the basic Superstock build at EUR24,600 (about $26,000 USD at current exchange rates) all the way to EUR160,000 (practically $170,000) for the RSV4 FW-GP, which offers more than 250 hp at the crank, pneumatic valves, dried out clutch, and a highly sophisticated consumer electronics and data acquisition package. Even though the RSV4 is a development bike, the bikes and components used for the Factory Works program are built strictly for race. Road-legal componentry, along with subscription paperwork, are not included or even offered. To avoid this list from being filled up with models from just a couple of manufacturers, we've decided to limit it to just the priciest model from the many OEMs symbolized here. We'll focus on the least expensive expensive bike.Motorcycles have always been associated with sort of rebel cool, a flexibility used on the wide open road. In the 1930s, airmen used to take up motorcycling since it was the closest thing they could get to flying when on the ground and they brought their iconic leather coats with them. However, with automobiles becoming a lot more expensive and more and more people looking for comfort and luxury in their vehicle, gets the motorbike lost some of its appeal? Some people are ready to pay serious money for what they think the ultimate 'cool' is and so, designers and technical engineers have attempt to create some significantly beautiful (or at least 'quirky') bikes with no considered to cost. Here we look at some of the most expensive motorcycles on the globe and ask why they cost much?Thank for Reading This Page
