Trizzle started out it two weeks ago with the Ten Cheapest Motorcycles, so honoring Donald Trump and MO's complete more-is-more school of thought, I hereby provide 15 Most Expensive New Bicycles of 2017.Determining the most expensive motorcycles is marginally more complicated than you might imagine. Lots of the priciest machines simply aren't available at your neighborhood dealership for a clearly determined MSRP. And then there's the completely custom motorcycles you could have built for yourself by boutique shops like NCR and a few other high-end builders, which don't truly qualify for production-bike status.Without a boutique shop, OEMs like Aprilia and BMW are also getting back in on the high-end sportbike game. BMW, for example, teased us with the all carbon fiber content HP4 Contest at EICMA 2016. It's still in the prototype stage, however, and rates hasn't been place.Meanwhile, Aprilia has truly gone and created the Factory Works program to buy racebikes based on the RSV4 direct from the stock that comply with guidelines for various national and international race organizations worldwide. Plans start with the basic Superstock build at EUR24,600 (around $26,000 USD at current exchange rates) completely to EUR160,000 (almost $170,000) for the RSV4 FW-GP, which features more than 250 horsepower at the crank, pneumatic valves, dried out clutch, and an extremely sophisticated electronics and data acquisition package deal. And while the RSV4 is a production bike, the bicycles and components used for the Stock Works program are built strictly for auto racing. Road-legal componentry, along with registration paperwork, aren't included or even offered. To prevent this list from being filled with models from only a couple of manufacturers, we've decided to limit it to just the most expensive model from the many OEMs represented here. We'll start with the cheapest expensive bike.Motorcycles have long been associated with a sort of rebel cool, a flexibility taken on the open up road. In the 1930s, airmen used to take up motorcycling since it was the closest thing they could get to traveling when on the ground and they brought their iconic leather coats with them. However, with motor vehicles becoming ever more expensive and increasing numbers of people looking for comfort and luxury in their vehicle, has the motorbike lost a few of its appeal? Some people are prepared to pay serious money for what they think the best 'cool' is therefore, designers and designers have set out to create some significantly beautiful (or at least 'quirky') bikes with no thought to cost. Here we look at some of the most expensive motorcycles in the world and ask why they cost a lot?Thank you for Visiting This Page
